I'm curious about this too. I've heard the same thing.

I say give him $100, unlimited trades, and let him go nuts.

Probably not. It costs $500 more to buy it with an SDD only instead of the 1TB HDD. As far as adding the HDD, it's the same process and requires many of the same tools sold in this kit. I think the only difference is not needing the bracket. The only upside I can think of by ordering it SDD only is that your boot

You don't have to replace the HDD, you can use it in conjunction with it. The iMac has room for both hard drives.

iMacs have shipped with SSD's for over a year. You can get an iMac with a 256GB SDD only. Or you can get a 1TB or 2TB HDD plus a 256GB SDD.

That's how anyone anywhere makes money...

Our cat likes to eat tape, so that wouldn't work... He minds well when we are home, since I have trained him with a squirt bottle. Our pets aren't allowed in the kitchen. It really grosses me out when I see peoples cats walking on their counters where they prepare food.

I want it for a laptop, not a desktop.

Now playing

This is one of the best explanations I've seen on the matter.

It is likely to be announced soon.

I've heard bad things about those hybrid drives, but they're such a good idea. I've read lots of threads about them failing after a few months, but the price for storage and speed is probably still worth the risk.

Yeah, just the act of scrolling or zooming requires so much more physical movement on a trackpad. Doing that all day seems exhausting. Dragging and dropping multiple items at once is horrible...

I have the multi-touch bamboo at work, and I don't really like using it as a track pad. I kind of hate track pads actually. A mouse just seems much more efficient, and precise. I only have the bamboo to draw with the stylus, because drawing with a mouse sucks. That's about it all I use it for.

My 32GB sandisk extreme III is one of the best purchases I've made in regards to my photo gear, just because I shoot video sometimes. Before I had a 16GB and other smaller cards, but I could easily fill them all up in half a day. I now use the 16GB as my main back up, but I haven't had to get it out yet. I've never

Great idea actually. This auditory effect happens in stadiums a lot. People announcing on a mic from the field have can have speech problems making them sound like they are having a stroke. I'm sure you can find a lot of examples on youtube.

Agreed. I think that 12,800 looks like it is definitely usable in a pinch.

Lot's of retailers have fake mark ups... This is nothing new, but $500 for splenda is pretty out there.

The waiting is over.

Many places are not allowing the use of the felt soles anymore due to cross contamination. This rubberized version may be their answer to not using felt.

Please, go on.
