/me Looks out the window at the big on the outside small on the inside company explorer, a single tear runs down face.

Are the Explorer and Lincoln Aviator built on the same platform (similar to the Expedition/Navigator)?

A hybrid truck could be good if done right.  What truck owner doesnt want more torque?

Very light hybrid that gets only slightly better mileage city than most current trucks and worse mpg highway than most current trucks.  This F150 is supposed to be a more serious effort.

Ford only makes like 3 things now, so they’ve gotta keep busy somehow.

20 years and 276k miles and the interior still looks great. I beg to differ.

No, my family has owned several of these. The interior will self destruct pretty soon. The drivetrain is impossible to damage, though.

The old adage “A Chevy will run poorly longer than most cars will run at all.”

Car engulfed in flames when you show up.

Take a look at the interior, front.  See that vent right below the steering wheel?  That right there makes this worth more than the $2500 asking.  That is the best vent in the history of car vents.  Why more vehicles don’t have the ball warmer/cooler vent, I’ll never know.  I miss my old tahoe just because of that

Yeah, it’s ridiculously clean. Unless this truck is actively on fire when you arrive to pick it up at the asking price it seems like a no brainer. Even then, I mean it kind of depends on how badly it’s on fire. Could still be a deal.

Surprised he didn’t Yankee rustproof it. (Waste oil + sprayer = rustproofing)

1. Saw “Suburban” and “$2,500" in the title

That mileage crosses a threshold. At 276k, it’s no worse than if it had 176k. Sure, some things are likely due for replacement, but a lot of things have undoubtedly already been replaced (and parts are cheap).

Nice price, all day, every day. If you want to tow a camper on a road trip, this is the truck to do it with.

“... until it finally self-destructs." You should live so long. Trucks like this clatter along for decades, apparently thriving on neglect and coming back for more.

This is basically a free truck. NP for this deal.

I feel like Hansel (or Gretal, I have no idea which is which) finding a gingerbread house in the middle of the forest. Seems too good to be true — but gonna vote NP regardless.

This is Nice Price in every possible way. It runs, it’s fud-it money, it has a purpose (hauling people and stuff) and doesn’t have to be babied, unlike yesterday’s car-show Jeep.
