I read a tweet from earlier today that the whole plan to bring mini-vans full of veterans with him was just so nobody would boo him when he was pictured on the Jumbotron. Apparently he requested they not announce him at all. Donny Boy doesn’t feel so confident when he can’t pack the stands with his sycophants.

And now a MAGA hat appears -- and disappears -- in the top of the eighth!

He’ll say it’s treason to disrespect the President. At which point, someone needs to pull out all his tweets about Obama and lock him up!

That was a transparent effort specifically calculated to cut the booing short/lessen its intensity.

I really like the idea of Stark lending Peter a hand in regards to the costume. I think it makes more sense when an adult Peter has more resources to craft a perfectly-tailored, intricately-designed suit, even if his Bugle pay makes him too broke to buy spaghetti. But it’s a little weird in, say, the first Raimi film…

This looks like it could be the pre-nano “Homecoming” suit, not the red and black “Far From Home” suit which was indeed nanotech.

i could be wrong here, but the homecoming suit wasn’t nanotech like what stark was using in Infinity war/endgame, just fancy stark tech of some other kind with an elastic fabric.

No it’s not, actually. The Iron-Spider suit is nano-tech, but the Homecoming suit is not. It is just what the article said it was
