I too am an old white dude, one that wants to see the movie. I understand it’s not really geared towards me. But it looks like fun.

How does going to see a movie protect children?
I think his point was millennial adult was a redundancy as all millenials are adults. Could have been “millennials and teenagers”
This movie is clearly not for me but this trailer was so much better than the first one. The first trailer was just too Freaky Friday and this one was pretty good.
Yeah, I reexamined that part after posting. I think they would be hard-pressed to find that many people so concerned they would cancel all of their streaming services.
To me, it’s not about hurting or helping the strike, it’s about doing something that you feel makes a statement for you personally. If this person’s idea of showing their displeasure is discontinuing a service, then discontinue the service.
Boycott if you want. Don’t listen to people that tell you otherwise. Many years ago I boycotted Adobe. It did make me feel better. But eventually I had to give in.
This made me think of that scene in Joe Dirt.
LOL! Yeah, I had a similar thought.
So actors are striking, and directors are striking. What about visual effects people? I mean if anyone deserves to strike for better pay/working conditions I’d think they’d be high on the list as well. Too bad they aren’t unionized (or are they?).

So you saw Avengers: Infinity War and then never saw Avengers: Endgame? Despite the cliffhanger?
Well, a crysknife should only be resheathed after drawing blood and they went away from that in the first movie, so who knows if it’s only by the Fremen or not.
That would be a really cool reality show. A bunch of strangers get together and are forced to watch and comment on TCM movies. It could be a new, unscripted version of MST3K. It would kill two stones with one bird; keep TCM movies on and have a new cheap reality show.
I don’t think his brother Ted would be as nice. But you know, what do you expect from the Zodiac killer.
Seeing how Muschietti handled Batman in this movie, his Batman movie might actually be a really good version. Gives me some hope.
Now they just need to cast Bill Skarsgard as the Joker.
However somehow this site just seems to want to give Ezra Miller a pass
