Try to find someone to be her peer/role model that’s in high school or around that age that has their stuff semi-together. I usually didn’t care about being responsible or having a good attitude when adults lectured me, but if my friend’s older sister or a cousin spent time with us I really listened and didn’t want to

I’m in the early 20's and have never been engaged or married and don’t know if I ever will. I’ve only been to a few weddings before and have never been a real bridesmaid or anything like that. I won’t say I’d be above wanting to get nice things if I were to because I’m sure I’d be pretty tempted. I can get down with

That makes sense. I have very little understanding of wedding culture. She’s trying to be so low maintenance and DIY but that’s obviously an act.

As a Kanye fan I catch every reference James makes and there’s quite a few. I believe the last was when they got into the fight at the Ok magazine party and he said “ You got vordka on my Yeezayss!”

Are tea towel invites douchey? Please explain, I’m clueless! I’m not even completely sure what tea towels are.

He’s now baby face with normal hair cut Peter, wondering whatever happened to Scheana’s ass.

I saw that. It was sooo kewt

Hope I’m not overselling it! Bored to Death had a whole nother level of charisma and charm, but Search Party is still pretty good and I haven’t seen many other offerings like it.

I watched the first six episodes. I think the pilot is a good representation of what to expect for the series. I can see how it falls flat so it may not be for you. I’m personally excited by this genre of mystery comedy and loved Bored to Death. If you haven’t seen that, I’d offer it as a good alternative to Search

Agreed. My boyfriend’s family doesn’t really do holidays and presents and the whole shebang, so I know that when I get him something it will probably be his only gift. I do appreciate the idea of thoughtful gifts and surprises but in reality we both know we only get a few treats a year and might as well get each other

I dated a guy that gave me a fishing rod. I thought it was cool even though I never used it. It was a new relationship and I liked the idea that he wanted to plan future adventures for us together.

I feel like we’re all missing the joke that Joanna is covertly buying gifts for herself under the guise of gifts “for her man”. Unless I’m tripping and maybe your boyfriend is actually Andy Cohen?
