As someone who has worked with survivors of domestic violence and as someone who is below the poverty line (because I chose a career that works with survivors of domestic violence), these articles feel like such a heavy “should” that so many can't accomplish. I appreciate your acknowledgment that this is a pipe dream

easier said and all that...

Is it just me or does that entire slideshow look like the sale section at Forever XVI? It’s terrible and looks cheap as all hell.

Fresh Sugar would be my recommendation, so I hope you like it! That stuff is expensive, but glorious.

This was totally like my wedding, only we were inspired by CarTalk. Our performance artists wore vintage muscle car transmissions on their heads and in retrospect the whole thing would have been far less tragic had we not insisted that they get in the pool.

It does, actually. It’s like a very squeaky, very quiet fart.

I agree that the The Weeknd is not that great, and I’m happy to see him included on this list.

He knows damn well what he did.

Diagrams, please. I live in Canada and this is relevant.

I saved all my daughter’s Polly Pockets (the cute little ones, not the large ones with rubbery clothes they have now), AND all her Littlest Pet Shoppe critters. (No problem hauling them around in the intervening years as they all fit in one small bin.)
