All of this was nothing more than normal negotiations, blown up into way more than it ever was by people who apparently don’t know much about negotiations.

And the deal is better than the initial one for Marvel as well, which is why so many never bought the “breakdown” of last month or whenever that was as anything other than negotiating tactics. They were always going to come to a deal, since it’d be such a no-brainer win-win situation.
