Off Topic is usually just used as a time for commenters to talk about whatever they want to. The contributor will, in most cases, post something entirely unrelated, and often passé. I appreciate this, it keeps off-topic from becoming a channel for contributors to post "this totally rad thing I found on the internet…

Eh, that was my immediate reaction, but this isn't like someone who was already in fantastic shape lost those last 5 or 6 pounds to hit the nail on the head; it's being shilled as more of a quasi-insperational story about someone who may not have been in great shape finding a reason to want to get healthier.
