True. Or the buyer could buy one of these and save the other $3k for Chapstick and Neosporin.

This past Spring, I was at a Walmart in Carlisle, PA waiting on my partner to return a few items when I noticed a beige, beat-to-shit Honda Element doing no more than 2 MPH down the primary lane of traffic in the parking lot. The man, probably in his 30's, sitting roughly at eyebrow height behind the steering wheel, Read more

Something about the C8 screams 90's GM to me (in the best way possible). Maybe its the impracticality of the button layout? Maybe the seats? Either way, Patrick’s configuration sealed this perception. White exterior with a M A R O O N interior! Fabulous. They should offer it as the “Lumina Package.”

Anecdotally speaking, didn’t they have fairly common problems with transmission failure and tarball development in engines with over 100k miles? It’d make sense that a good number of these were simply thrown away or left to rot behind buy-here-pay-here dealerships.

Throw an extra 5 hundy at the problem and get yourself a 2nd Gen Prius (2004-2009). They’re reliable, easy to work on, fuel efficient, cheap, and fantastic with snow tires (don’t believe the cowards who say otherwise)! Just do yourself a favor and experience the Zen of being smarter than the assholes driving lifted Read more

I experienced the evil firsthand this past tax eve. I got all the way to the end of my Turbo Tax filing only to find out that, because I wished to deduct my student load interest, I needed to fork over like $40 for the Deluxe version (that hadn’t been a thing in previous years). Naturally, I refused and went to see Read more
