Orem, UT is a small town, but we have the fastest residential internet connections in the nation (at least that I've heard of). 50Mbit up and 50Mbit down last mile fiber for $50/month. That kicks fios and any connection in any major city. The best part is I actually see those speeds. I regularly download at around

@kyel57: I'm sure you could install the theme and then find the images on your computer somewhere. Maybe your images folder?

Haha - this reminds me of Microsoft's classic answer to bugs: "It's not a bug, it's a feature!"

Apple seems to be focused on making a high quality, stable browser that provides a good experience to its users. They are not interested in making it a platform, as they have already done that with OS X.

It always amazes me what people will go through to reinforce the perceptions they built about computer operating systems in the early 90's.

yet another app to get your operating system to do what it should be doing in the first place.

Looks like a feature I might activate 100 times a day unintentionally. Could be pretty annoying.

@SalilaFinch: I think they learned from Apple that you don't need to have a quicklaunch and a taskbar, just one interface that shows you available apps with a little something showing you which of those apps are running.

Why does Microsoft persist in their incredibly Ugly Vista UI? Don't get me wrong, I think the new taskbar is an improvement and when they first started demonstrating peek I was thinking they were about to show some dumb magnifying glass feature or something - I was surprised that it actually looked pretty cool. But

I don't know why yummyftp isn't ever on these lists. It blows every other mac ftp client out of the water. Cyberduck is okay. Transmit is a disappointment (I expected more from Panic).

an okay idea with a poor poor execution. Why would you use a USB dongle for a computer that obviously has bluetooth?

@Dignan17: I seem to recall seeing a blackberry version of this posted in some forum. Can't find it now though...

Heh .. I remember when I used to use Windows and had to deal with all this garbage...

Nah, I don't care if the president has any knowledge of such irrelevant and meaningless issues as the biggest ever thing to ever happen to the world ever.

I have a pet peeve about people buying really big monitors only to maximize every window in them. It defeats the purpose and it makes you look dumb.
