Don’t be silly. The help likes the outdoors. Why would they live in those hovels with barely a thatch roof over their heads if they don’t like changing of the seasons? No, I say let them drive outdoors, and let those of us civilized enough to work for a roof over our heads enjoy some privacy.

It’s an IT issue. We have to use our network for some pretty heavy lifting (3D modelling, cluster computing, etc.) so it’s not like they’re just being curmudgeons. We really need all the bandwidth we can get. I have simulations that run a 1-2 days faster since they started policing streaming video.

The thing is, we’re talking about terraforming Mars so the human race can endure after an extinction event that leaves Earth uninhabitable. There’s really no reason to terraform the Sahara until we run out of room to live and grow food in places that don’t need terraforming. Read more

I saw the same shit driving from Utah to San Diego two Christmases ago. I saw THREE rollover accidents in and around Vegas during a light drizzle. I saw DOZENS of cars stuck in the dirt median after trying to U-turn when they hit the traffic caused by those rollovers. Then I was stuck behind hundreds of drivers with Read more
