The Allen Event Center is nice, but it would be so much cooler if it were happening at AT&T Stadium or the American Airlines Center.

I know it’s not a popular opinion. Afterall, they did tone it down thanks to y’all complaining about it. I enjoyed it, because it tied the story together. I also enjoyed searching around for different clues and story tidbits. The last game to do anything with it well was Black Flag, and each successive game since

Thank goodness. I stopped playing when they started to tone down the modern day sci-fi plotline. Stepping back into that sounds awesome.

I rejected my country side back when I left my hometown in rural Texas. Lately, I’ve been trying to get back in touch with that part of me. Specifically, the non-toxic aspects of my experience there. It’s nice to have music like this. It’s like the music version of a person who grew up in a small town listening to a

Man, I wish we’d start ignoring these idiots who clearly don’t make up a significant portion of our society. It’s like when a kid acts up in a store. You don’t give them the attention they want, you starve them of the attention to show them their bullshit isn’t going to get them any.

Does Johnny Yong Bosch still look young enough to reprise his role as Kaneda? I’d actually be really down to see this with him in it. Especially since it’s going to be helmed by Taika Waititi.

It sounds like Amtrak should look into upgrading to bullet trains. It’s kind of ridiculous that a country of this size doesn’t have a reliably fast rail system like the Shinkansen in Japan. It would be expensive to implement, but I could see it being competitive with airlines in ridership, and easily making that money

I don’t see that happening for quite some time. Plus, if 5G mobile towers turn out to be half as good as companies are claiming it will be, that might mitigate that issue. I remember my days of satellite internet out in rural Texas. It was not great.

According to the 2010 US Census, 80.7 percent of the population lives in urban areas. These areas almost assuredly have sufficient internet capabilities to support this kind of service.

I’m planning on picking this up for Switch. I know it won’t look as good as the other two remasters, but I want to revisit this game with the updated mechanics. It’s actually one of my favorite stories from the franchise.

I don’t know. I’ve been appreciating his later music a lot more recently. He got experimental and made some high level music. Now that he’s not worried about making it, he’s started to master his art. I’d argue that Good Guy is just as moving and well-crafted The Way You Lie. Kamikaze is his best album since Encore,

N 2 Gether Now still hits. No shame. lol

It’d be more telling if I hadn’t just described how I’m capable of distinguishing between good and bad Sonic content without my general enjoyment of the character deciding that for me.

Which is why I said “thought to be mindless”. It’s not as mindless as you think, and you’d know that if you weren’t a shallow dunce who mindlessly consumes.

I know this sounds biased coming from the guy with Sonic as his profile icon, but I actually like it. All things considered, this is a pretty good alternate design. While I am a fan of the character, I haven’t really enjoyed many of his outings since Sonic Adventure 2. I unfortunately skipped Colors, but Generations

What a self righteous response to thoughtful commentary. God forbid we actually critique the media we enjoy, even one thought to be purely mindless.

You’re likely to get them, but it does the mind good to analyze our media beyond whether or not we simply enjoy it.

For me, the worst case scenario is that it’s a hamfisted critique of the modern world from the perspective of two ridiculous fictional characters who came of age in the mid to late 90s. The best case scenario is that Kevin Smith returns to his Chasing Amy level of nuanced storytelling that can make fun of a situation

Kevin Smith has often been the exact opposite of the niche in geek culture that you’re complaining about. Even more so in recent years. Give him a shot.

Glad you’re doing better, Mike. Thanks for the info. Now, I just need to get to the part of my life where I have the financial stability to even be able to stay in a hospital for a month, if I need to.
