If they put that on my TV, I’d watch it

Speed (the old cable network) covered Bathurst a few years ago start to finish. Great race, would love to watch Aussie V8s if we had actual coverage on TV here.

Nascars on a road course produce the best racing of any series anywhere. The closest thing to equal spec cars in any professional series without the aerodynamic dependent handling and extreme fear of contact that ruins passing in open wheel plus heavy, low grip, high horsepower cars. I wish the entire series was road

Well it’s faster than the Veyron, and that’s still the king of ugly.

I think the senna looks better than the Ferrari TheFerrari.  The front wing which looks like a deformed F1 nose always bothered me.

It’s old. It weighs as much as a house. It’s not relevant anymore. It’s expensive, for a Nissan. No manual, no care. It’s a computer car, a video game car that requires no skill to drive. It looks like a brick. It’s got no soul. This is how the R35 Nissan GT-R gets written off, now a decade into its existence.

    Guilty.

Not if you ask consumer reports, or any Camry buyer.

I appreciate what Singer does, but at some point I’d love to see them (or someone else) do a resto-mod with this level on some other car. Like a Dino, or C3 corvette, or a Buick Roadmaster wagon.

How are the tariffs hurting them if they are already buying almost all of their steel in the US?

I stopped in a McLaren dealer a couple months ago, they had a 720 with over $100k in options. Each little carbon fiber piece was a $5k option. And there were lots of them.

For sure, it’s much easier to file a patent than to get the part into production.

Agreed, and most havent grown on me. I dont like the big evil grin on the front of all the cars in the last decade, something about the porportions on the 458/458 is off and the front wing splitter wing thing on the LaFerrari bothers me to no end. This is amazing.

Love those cars, I want all 3.  Would DD.

    Everyone forgets about this

We’ve already lost the pedal feel on the right. If this allows them to use a 3 pedal setup on an automated manual transmission and not have to develop a separate unit it might be the best hope to save the manuals on super cars.

Hmm, clutch by wire. Now lets take this a step further. Automated clutch with a clutch pedal by wire. Shift linkage by wire.  Allow the driver to switch between automatic and manual mode. Let them have 3 pedals when on the open road and automatic in traffic.

Somewhere there is an RSR owner who can’t find the coolant reservoir, to check the level, and won’t drive it until he does, in fear of overheating. Hopefully this purchase, while expensive, will allow him to consult the manual to find it.

Something breaks, dont have time one money to fix it, car is parked, more things need attention because its parked. People dont realize the value has skyrocketed (these were cheap in the 80s, just like a broken 4th gen camaro isnt worth much today) or dont think theirs is worth much because it needs a restoration and
