  1. I caught the first part of the conversation — Ren lying about her killing Snoke — but missed the escape pod part.

Ha I know exactly which one you’re talking about... the lady’s got a pretty face but that hair - what is up with that?

Yes!!! Even my mom who loves every commercial said, “eww, did he just stick that earbud in her ear?”

It’s a real mix of good ideas and bad ideas poorly executed.

Wow, this is like the best summary of the prequels ever.

Two thoughts:

Agreed, think this applies to the deal as a whole, not just Deadpool.

  1. The first third of the movie — up to the point where Han and Chewie show up — is great. Daisy & Boyega are movie stars in the making, Oscar Isaac is a movie star, and Driver manages to exude menace under that mask.

I was trying to figure out who that was between Woodson & Eddie George in that photo (it’s Danny Wuerffel BTW) and came across this...

Willie & The Jimbos feat. Bobby B.

because it’s been 14-17 years since Dune and Children of Dune

Doesn’t this seem like a direct shot at Zack Snyder? I thought he didn’t want to use the Superman theme.

It really does feel like this is something more than a petty squabble, like the big NFL machine really is going to eat itself. In which case, I’ll have my popcorn ready.

Houstonian (not a Texan fan) checking in:

Can someone help an old Star Wars geek:

First, Ms Blanchett is looking fierce in that photo.

If Gal Gadot says the sun rises in the west, the only appropriate response is, “Yes. Yes it does.”

Native Texan (so not really Deep South?), in my 47 years I have never heard this expression either.

Even more disturbing than the greyscale scene was the fact that Missandei and Grey Worm LEFT THE DOOR OPEN. Dragonstone’s a big place but not that big.

Also, maybe using a bullwhip in a swordfight on a crowded deck wasn’t the best choice...
