so... the ps5 won’t be *really* able to hit 4k? Still? *sigh* If you can’t actually hit the numbers, don’t pretend to. The PS3 claimed to output 1080, but we all know it never hit those numbers.

I'm assuming he was asking about the Playstation, since he was referencing the idea of buying a 2nd controller for it. The switch is its own category as far as I'm concerned, lol

Sounds like either there’s going to be a massive shortage (most likely) or they’re trying to make sure some consoles actually get in the hands of gamers rather than scalpers who’ll sell it for 2-3x the msrp and therefore guarantee that the only people who can get one are people who are insane enough or rich enough to

Not that I’m aware - sports games are another exception. Couch co-op is about 90% dead outside a couple of niche genres. I started trying to collect games that I could play with my wife on the same screen, and the list is tiny.

I agree! I need something to hang my hat on....

Meh, who cares what they think. I’m very sure they grade you just based on the bell value of the crap in your house. When I unlocked my basement the first time, I also ended up having a bunch of fish in my inventory, so I threw them down in there for storage until the next morning when I could sell them for top dollar.

Needed to craft: 20x gold nugget, 1x Allen wrench

lol can’t find em for sale...

Lovely. Google ignores AndroidTV entirely for years and this would be be the 2nd update that did nothing but create ads on the home screen.

It looked awful because it looked heavily unfinished. It’s been a while so I don’t remember specific details, but I remember texture issues, models that looked like ps2 era quality, stuff like that. Stuff that said “more work needs to be done on this and normally we wouldn’t show this but we had a deadline to be ready

I remember seeing this game on the PS5 launch video and it looked absolutely awful, I’m not surprised at all.

my favorite was sating hi with my revolver...

Seriously, the number of prompts you have to go through to get to a friend’s island is nuts, and many of them could easily be put on the same menu as the previous one. Even worse, you’re 90% there but then pick the wrong option and have to do it over again... ugh!

Oh man, Fallout 4... You forgot “write the great novel of mankind” in there.

It’s definitely a little of both for me. I’m hitting 40, which means in my lifetime I went from an Atari (which I was too young to really remember the games) to an NES, SNES, then PS1-4. The changes between generations are getting more incremental for sure - Moore’s Law ended after the PS2, if you ask me. Up until the

Don’t worry, they’ll never get the boob physics right.

If you haven’t played it, it has so many options it’s dizzying. Want to create a tracking shot? Built in. Want dramatic cherry blossoms wafting in? ok. Oh that’s not enough, turn it up. Done. Want color filters (and really good ones, a lot of games have them but mostly make the game look like garbage)? Got that. How

I’ve got a high end (although not the highest end) M.2 SSD on my gaming PC and more RAM than any console has ever had, and I still have loading screens all the time. They are shorter, but definitely not gone.

I also really loved how you got dropped out of the loading screen and into the setting - it was a beautiful way to take something that most people hate (pop in) and do something fun with it.

“Ghost of Tsushima introduces lethal difficulty...
“Finally! The game has been fixed!”
“Also introduces a low intensity combat setting”
“The game has been RUINED! No one can play it now!”
