You guys sure about the 9-speed?  Must be the new Mercedes 9G-Tronic transmission.  Weird since Aston was using ZF 8HPs up until this, but only in a transaxle configuration.  Stranger that they wouldn’t just use it here, but guess it was cheaper to buy the whole engine/trans combo from Benz rather than pair it to the

Hard to believe that by 2023 we’ll be 15 years from the first major Marvel film that kicked off the current MCU.  Man, hard to believe Iron Man 1 is 11 years old.

On the face of it, I get the JLR/BMW tie up, but it just seems... weird. JLR is a weird mishmash of legacy Ford hardware and newer self-developed stuff (Ingenium - which I guess a whole family of those engines isn’t happening now given the alleged powertrain partnership).

Uh, the DB5 was designed by Touring Superleggera as was the Disco Volante. The Jensen Interceptor was designed by Vignale. Some of the cars up there are Bertone - the Cizeta and Diablo were independently designed by Gandini and not Bertone.

Not this time - Trump has no sympathy for GM.

GM is gradually returning to its shitty old ways pre-recession. Just seems like the last 3 years of products (Corvette aside - though I do have my reservations about C8) and general design language/build quality has been generally awful.

Cher has a better chance of getting elected president than a new 2 door WRX STI.  I just don’t see it as feasible, especially since coupes just don’t sell anymore (that aren’t muscle or GT cars).

It’s oddly ‘blocky’ and that front end is weirdly bulbous.  Very different from the curvaceous CX-30 and CX-5.  I’m not sure this design language works too well here - it lacks cohesiveness somehow.

Absolutely the poorest judgment of anyone I’ve ever seen operating a motor vehicle. He even had the gall to ignore deliberately visiting a local Moto Guzzi dealer.  Stupid.

Agreed, this is possibly the stupidest article I’ve read on this site. Yes, let me ignore my regard for my own life by driving back north in a monsoon with a massive oil leak coating my drive wheel. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

Sweet Jesus, that’s a well bought vehicle.

Great car!  I saw it and loved it!  Is it just Hartge wheels or other Hartge parts too?

Look forward to meeting you!

I gotta ask, who the hell wants an electric Lamborghini? I’m sure they’re doing this because they HAVE to, but maybe the Beverly Hills crowd will buy this and that’s about it.

I believe so - any exterior surface changes have to be Federalized for pedestrian safety standards.

Federalization is expensive.  The US market has the most expensive regulatory costs in the world with the EU second.

Yes because he had to spend money to make money.  Beyond the initial investment, there’s been little investment since - that’s how Nissan remains profitable.

Because Carlos Ghosn ran Nissan like a private equity portfolio asset - run it into the ground with minimal investment and sell it off.

Agreed, the XJ was the only one with a decent interior.  I rented an F-Type last year and thought the interior was awful for a $72,000 MSRP vehicle.

That’s the most obscure automotive fact of the week!
