I particularly love library e-book programs. My kindle has really helped my book hoarding problem, and the e-book program means I can decide one day I really want to read “Love in the Time of Cholera” and likely be able to download it from my library 100% free within a minute. It’s amazing.
The libary is teh best.
The library gets angry when I make notes in the margins. And I don’t always have access to the books I need if someone else checked it out.
This is how I think about it. I have books, I’d be happy to get rid of most of them. I don’t read them, I’ve ALREADY read them. I love the library but don’t need to own books myself at all.
I love the public library. Its a great way to read a variety of stuff.

I think the more you root for him, generally the worse the story is. Hannibal & Hannibal Rising (particularly) making him into a protagonist (against some rather uninteresting antagonists) made that clear.
