Love that the #1 concern here is “will he miss the birth of his child” and a hot second place is “will his wife be mad”? Not, you know, will his life partner have the support she needs or wants at a pivotal and potentially scary moment of HER life.

The heartening thing about Pam Bondi being here is that it shows Trump is too fucking stupid to realize he can’t do whatever he wants. He is going to get in serious trouble for corruption or something, and when he does, no one will defend him except the goons who have already hitched their fortunes irrevocably to his.
It’s completely shameful. They could cut Trump and Pence and start a new party if they weren’t such fucking cowards. I wish I could hope that normal Congresspeople would work against President Trump, but their pathetic, unprincipled behavior during the election proved the impossibility of that.
I just can’t wrap my head around the purposeful ignorance of people who refuse to understand that the vast majority of the US population is the result of immigration. What are they even trying to achieve?

When did “fact check” cease to mean affirming or correcting claims that purport to be fact? This is commentary and analysis of Trump’s plan, not a fact-check. I first noticed it when NPR and TV news were “fact-checking” the presidential debates, but has it been going on longer than that?

I’m pretty much a socialist and even I wasn’t crazy about his platform. I appreciated the issues he was bringing up, but he didn’t convince me he had any solutions for them. tbh, though, it was a moot point - I was never not going to vote for Hillary.
Someone on the radio this morning pointed out that Bernie and his wife went to the USSR on their honeymoon. I think he would be a very tough sell.
And if they do name what is going on, they’ll be accused of starting a race war.
