- Brick took a complete 180 into douche territory. No explanation as to why, either.
- Axl was his atypical jerk-self, although rare that he won't come home & obey his dad when asked to since they usually are fairly close.
- Frankie was acting very… passive about Brick being a jerk.
- Sue was her normal self, however.

Thanks, Bugs.

That nickel could go a long ways!

That beer they had looked like piss-water.
If domestic, as Mike wanted, it certainly wasn't Sam Adams.

I thought she was a he for about 5 minutes because I missed their name & had to re-look on their name tag & when Sue said "She", then it confirmed.

This was like the first time in how long? A year or so… that they had a stand-alone Middle review… but ONLY because Goldbergs had 2 new episodes, so I wouldn't count on this next time there's new episodes.

I didn't care for Brick's storyline this time around. Since when did he all of a sudden become a rebel teenage kid? It makes little sense, and kind of put a downer on this episode. It would have been better if there was more of an explanation why he made this 180 transition, like school peers or reading some book

Here's a few stray observations:
- Is it now a requirement for at least once an episode to have a character, usually Bev, to swear (usually the F-bomb)?
- NOW I noticed Voltron that Adam was playing with, right (also with what looked like a GoBot Leader-1 & little Army men)?
- What was up with Bev's choice of clothes

I noticed that too… the Middle & Goldbergs or just some of the ABC families seem to share a lot of common ground. Coincidence? I don't know, but yea, that beer.

That is still early, actually. Our first VCR wasn't until 1986, I remember. My friend got one in 1984 (not sure how I remember that). His looked cooler with some KIT like blue lights that scrolled across normal in play, reversed when rewinding & sped up when fast forwarding.

It's also Saturday night, got no date and a 2 liter bottle of Shasta.

You do realize that Gen-Xers (myself included) goes from the years of about the early 60's to the very early 80's. In other words, the majority of those considered part of the Gen-X would have been born AFTER Vietnam war (the rest, during or very young).

Beany Bopper? Never had it… but saw a YouTube video on it, and looks awful.
Best Pac-Man ripoff I ever played was Alien for the Atari-2600. It far surpassed the crapfest that was the Atari-2600 version of Pac-Man.

Hell yea. Even on That 70's Show, they just introduced VCR's. Remember the episode when Red bought one and purposely taped a show they normally watch, but sat there with the TV off as it was recording only to watch it an hour later after it was done?

Dude… you have Pacman, Pong, Donkey Kong, & Space Invaders… the ultimate classic game crossover. Throw in a little Q*Bert & Missile Command, and then we'll be rockin'.

lol, gotta love Mitch Hedberg, RIP.

If Junior is around 15, then basically… no.
Even if born in 1999, they're a millennial baby.

Who selected these movies, Leo Tolstoy?
I tried to give 'The Tree Of Life' a chance, and it was horrible. Most of these movies are so boring or just plain bad.

I love but hate how the kids referred to TV in the 90's as in its infancy because they had to suffer thru commercials or be at the TV when the show was being broadcast.

Here's kind of an odd question, but since it was Adam's Birthday, how old is he supposed to be now… 12 or 13? Obvious question is obvious. I thought he was 11 at the start of the series, turned 12… and for the Jewish faith, 13 marks your Bar Mitzvah. So where was this Bar Mitzvah party, Adam? I'm sure Bev would have
