E-mail is exactly what Twitter was after. They don’t want people leaving their app to write a lengthy note in a proper email client or Facebook Messenger. It’s an attempt to keep users in the Twitter app. That makes sense to me. The Medium move? Not so much.

That describes just about any action movie with a hero in it. There's a good guy, there's a bad guy. Good guy needs to stop bad guy and gets knocked on his ass. Good guy regroups by finding some kind of inspiration/resolve, comes back and defeats the bad guy.
