I think you’ve pretty much exactly nailed it. People really throw a freakin’ hissy fit whenever they think racing’s being emasculated somehow. Some people just wanna watch the damn racing.

No understanding or appreciation for the source material. Paint-by-numbers style uninspired script writing. Overly contrived, superfluous set pieces. Limited or barely workable acting, directing, so forth. Over-reliance of cheesy gimmicks.

The new BMW is built in India. Its gotten good reviews. Nothing inherently wrong with Indian manufacturing.
