I’ve said it before and I’ll probably have to say it again...

OMG. Chardonnay. I miss Footballers Wives.

Stop calling him Dylan (his sister). His name is Ronan, and that chip on your shoulder must be super hard to carry around. Good luck with your career. Really!

HIS NAME IS RONAN perhaps you are not doing so well because you cannot read and process information like peoples’ names

He’s the American Apparel of photographers. I can’t tell them apart.

My take on Kim has always been that she flips the script on the male gaze by taking so much personal pleasure in her own beauty, and leveraging it for her own power and success. I think she subverts the expectation that women be attractive and pleasing but for the sake of others, remaining self-deprecating and modest.

A better question would be when did a co-worker ask me to join them in solidarity to fight with them to get a much deserved raise and I responded by telling them to “fuck off”? That’s the analogy that works best for this scenario. The answer to that is never. And it happened last year when a paralegal asked me to help

It happens at my Organization. You go to bat for the people that work for you so that they get the compensation they deserve. Even if it means you might get a little less in one year to ensure someone on your team who deserves it gets it.

You just take a deep breath, Froggy, sit down and dream about the glass of wine you can you have after Froggy Jr. is born. I just read all the responses and holy wow, you’re right, people are being shitty. But guess what? Like me they are a bunch of interweb randos who don’t really know you or your life. Don’t take

So... Not picking a fight here because I don’t think you mean anything legit homophobic by it, but I think calling out the more effeminate or flamboyant hubands as potentially gay is what makes this whole thing so gross.

The only people who say that have never actually had proper Chicago pizza, or don’t actually know what a casserole is.

This has been disproven. Fast food employees make $20 an hour in Denmark and the Big Mac costs only a few cents more.

One of the most important studies that I use in my paper is by Card and Krueger in 1992. New Jersey in 1992 raised its minimum wage from $4.25 to $5.05. Card and Krueger surveyed fast-food restaurants before the increase and then again after the increase and compared their findings to similar stores in eastern

That paper you linked completely debunks your argument in its abstract:

If you’re going to pay them more, you’re going to have to charge more for your fast food.

The profit listings for Yum brands would disagree with you. I never understand why people think its ok for corporations to make tons of profit but when a low level worker wants a living wage, the argument turns into “Well you will have to pay more.” How about those stock holders get a little less?

Your comment should be this entire article. Not only did they sign a contract they had no intention of honoring, but the vendor went out of her way to waive the charge and they still wanted to make her life miserable? I hope they enjoy paying her that million dollars.

It was in the contract and was in the FAQs. Customers could choose a wide variety of designs for the cover so the cost was separate and specified, all of which is in the embedded links in the article you linked to.

You’re literally the only one talking about “civil war,” stupid. I’m talking about political consequences you are wholly unprepared for. The fact that you read that and hear “civil war” in your head is an indication that you should stop trying to assure the world of your great intellect or schooling bona fides.
