My point specifically is that I would like to see more female Avengers, I would like to see more more female characters in general but in the context of the MCU I want to see more women at the top table. I want to see their heroism acknowledged. You don’t think membership of the Avengers is important and that’s cool,

Yes! I’d love if they included TV people, it’s the only way we’d get Hellcat.

Yeah but as of yet only Black Widow and Scarlet Witch are actual Avengers, Captain Marvel and Wasp are presumably joining the roster but the rest are Guardians of The Galaxy or supporting characters of other Avengers rather than team members.

I want a She Hulk legal drama, but I’ll settle for whatever we get.

I would absolutely watch a Lady Liberators movie but there needs to more female Avengers to make it worthwhile, there aren’t enough female official Avengers in the MCU to make a full Spice Girls tribute act right now. It’s a shame most of the women in the picture probably won’t be taking part in a future movie.

This looks great. The X-men projects without X-men in the title have been really impressive lately, it’s a shame they can’t bring the same quality to the main movies.

I don’t know, I think it’s smart that they’re including the whole Belladonna and guild stuff as background but moving ahead with a big heist. I’ve seen plenty of Romeo and Juliet stories and I’m not sure it’s necessarily worth it to focus the whole movie on such a familiar story.

Channing has to be seen in motion to truly be appreciated.

I’m happy for Channing that he’s getting closer to getting the movie made. He wouldn’t have been my first choice for the role but none of the movie X-men have been very close to the comic book characters anyway, and there is that story of him breaking into Joseph Gordon Levitt’s apartment to show how poor the security

I have no problem with people from alternate realities or different times running about, it’s to be expected in X-men, but they are no replacements for the originals. They can’t just go to the pound and get a similar looking one and expect people to feel the same about them, it doesn’t work like that. I know people

I hope they relaunch Uncanny with the return of real Cyclops, they seem to be listening to what people want and things won’t really be restored until actual Cyclops is back.

It’s a shame how far the X-men have fallen but I’m cautiously optimistic that Marvel are at least trying to course correct now. The X-men are getting their own panel at NYCC this week for the past few years they’ve had to share with Inhumans, they’ve announced new comics for Legion and Rogue & Gambit today, and

If Channing Tatum actually manages to get Gambit made at this rate it will be staffed entirely by people who he got to do it as a personal favour. If he got along with Daniel Craig on Logan Lucky as well as he typically seems to do with his costars, he can probably persuade him to be in it.

Wolverine is so central to the X men that virtually any member other than the time displaced teens has some kind of relationship that would make that moment more meaningful.

Things have really moved on since the 90s. I was the only one of my friends whose family didn’t go to mass, slumber parties on Saturday night usually involved going to mass on Sunday morning before you’d go home. The divorce referendum in 1996 was extremely close, whereas today the most common complaint about divorce

Anyone who plays Stan Lee just needs a moustache and the distinctive voice, if someone who looks as different from Stan as Jordan Peele can do it then I’m sure Leonardo DiCaprio could give it a go.

I loved Lance Hunter’s interaction with the team.

His special contacts would have allowed the cast and crew to make various lewd gestures towards him without him seeing which must have made working with him easier. I choose to believe that just out of shot in each of his scenes is someone making a wanker motion.

Taking BBC 3 off the air and making it an online service was a terrible move. They should remove the BBC 3 branding altogether and just call them iplayer premiere programmes or something and then rush them onto other streaming services if they want to get any kind of audience.

They can’t be combined? Fine.
