Pfft. Dread did more for her character thru body language alone than Other M did with its piles of garbage dialogue.
Pfft. Dread did more for her character thru body language alone than Other M did with its piles of garbage dialogue.
After watching that cutscene I get where you’re coming from but I think I disagree. The Samus in this game shows almost all of her emotion through body language. The fact that she lingers, staring at the body shows that she feels something. She’s acknowledging those emotions and internalizing them as well as the info…
That is literally not what he said. I saw the special. He did not label it as a choice. He simply gave his views on the identity. Comedians have been making jokes about ethnicities, religions, countries, etc since forever. What did Dave really do that is so bad that you cancel him? Food he kill someone?
How many people that are mad at him actually watched it? Because Dave is clearly very pro trans rights. His “team terf” joke was bad, and hurtful and it seemed like he didn’t even understand what the term meant. Seems he thinks it simply means “believes gender is real”. But even then not as in trans genders are not…
What’s funny is he makes fun of you specifically in the special. If you watched the entire special (sounds like you didn’t) and came away with, “Dave is transphobic”, then I don’t know what you were watching. I laughed, I cried, I empathized with multiple parties. This was stand-up at its highest level and i pity you…
He didn’t actually say anything offensive. Even though he said that he’s “team TERF”, he acknowledged the fact that the transgender community is having a human experience (people will also notice the tattoo on his hand that says human). Another point he made is that these so-called movements have a tendency to do harm…
I see nothing wrong with the email or the special. by nature you aren’t meant to take stand ups literally. I hate when they pull a comics clips completely devoid context and turn them into their stance on something. Removing any tone they have been going for, rather or not they where exagerating for effect, being…
For what it’s worth, if you’ve got a Switch, Nintendo’s online service includes the original Metroid and Super Metroid.
The article didn’t tell anyone not to buy the game.
It’s a victimless crime, if you’ve bought the game.
Emulating the game does not preclude buying it, even if you downloaded the ROM.
Emulation does not equal piracy.
Emulation does not equal piracy.
“Because piracy can’t exist without emulation”
It is all the same tired arguments. Emulation = piracy. Piracy = lost sales. Problem is that time and time again this has been proven false.
He didn’t tell people not to buy the game, dude.
The fact that most people here associate „Emulation“ with „Piracy“ tells us more about the people than it does about emulation.
Its not a question of emulation or buying it. You can do both. The article isn’t linking to a ROM site so whether you acquire that ROM legally or not is on you. Emulation itself isn’t wrong.
You could buy a copy, rip a ROM from it, and then emulate it. Thats the legal way to run ROMs on emulators after all.
You play ROMs with a Switch Emulator. That in itself isn’t illegal. The illegal part is that most people will download a publicly available ROM rather than rip their own ROM from a legally acquired copy of the game.
