Great combination of films to watch at Halloween. I watched at least a horror film or me every day last October!

I just saw it this last Halloween as part of my horror movie a day deal and to me it still holds up and haunts me in the end as usual!

Yes this scene near the end when I first saw this film sealed the deal for me that this once just rocked in a horror sense! It is shocking, heartbreaking, haunting and ultimately scary as hell. I mean talk about a major action of sacrifice that a character goes and does here!

Please no remake or this one or any of his films. Just recall THE FOG remake and you will learn the reason why! ;)

One of my favorite Carpenter horror films! The ending of it still is very haunting to me to this day! I always wish there were more tripped out horror films like this one!

Yes I have to admit between vampires and zombies I am getting burned out on both. Just looked at horror film listings and especially low budget ones. Plenty of zombie and vamps! So many my eyes will glaze over and I am a big horror fan! They really have to do something original with them to get me to watch at times.
