For as great as convention cosplay can be, there’s certainly an argument to be made for non-con events like the Hogwarts Open House held recently at Warwick Public Library in Warwick R.I.
In the midst of a report on Salon.com rather gleefully reporting on “the divide between the conservative and establishment wings of the Republican Party,” writer Scott Eric Kaufman outlines his case thusly [emphasis added]:
