Hopefully Sandman, as Kraven should be the main villain of the next Spider-Man film (and old folk will remember Sandman as being the only halfway decent thing about Raimi’s Spider-Man 3).

Yeah, that’s neither the category nor film that I’d like to see her nominated for (Best actress, Midsommar).
Yeah, good point. I guess I just want more of an explanation from this trailer (as in a narrative explanation, not ‘$$$’) for why Keaton would be in this film.
Yeah, I saw that, and tbh was worried that that was precisely the cameo that the title referred to until Keaton showed up. I suppose that that does just about confirm it, although I’m worried now that I’m going to have to watch this, Venom, and its sequel in order to stay up-to-date on the MCU.
Cheers! Now that I know that it’s much clearer, but I genuinely listened to it several times as ‘geh daga doogeh do goodah, eh?’.
Am I missing something? Is Keaton’s character actually identified as Vulture somewhere that I’m blanking out? (tbh I can’t make out wtf he says between ‘Michael Morbius’ and ‘What’s up doc’, but I don’t think it’s ‘I’m Adrian Toomes from the MCU film Spider-Man: Homecoming’.)
Knives Out is the biggest snub, after Lupita Nyong’o of course.
Nope. I honestly do not believe that Marvel would shell out Bale’s salary (which must be pretty high after The Dark Knight) across the several films required to establish Doom as a common enemy, and then hide him (and his Hollywood looks and physique) behind a full body metal suit for most of that time.
Oh yeah, I don’t think that Bale would be against the costume per se, more being locked in to wearing it in several films (assuming that Doom isn’t wasted after one film like dumbass Trank tried to do).
This is the MCU though:
With Batman though you see Bale unmasked as Bruce Wayne... admittedly Nolan’s predilection for covering up Tom Hardy is harder to argue with.
There’s no way they’d hide Bale’s face behind Doom’s mask.
Nighthawk is already played by Scoot McNairy:
Seconded. I’d like to think that I’m as progressive as cishet white males go and that I’d spot any misogyny in this, but cannot. Has the article been retroactively edited? Or am I a stupid man (probably, yes) who’s blind to something here due to a lifetime of unearned privilege?
...Dunkirk?
tbf, that album wasn’t any good
duh
Where’s she in silhouette? Her face is clearly shown all four times I’ve spotted her in this.
I haven't actually watched the trailer yet because I'm reading this on my phone while I'm on the can, but I think I can confidently say that no, Wiig is definitely the star here.
You know what, you’re absolutely right. I got confused by the jump from post-heist (Stark dies) to pre-heist (he’s living in isolation with his family) and back to post-heist (Vision isn’t brought back by the Hulk-snap). Sorry Tom! (But you’re still wrong about Vision and Black Widow :P)
