The last midnight release/time I waited in line was for the Switch (& BOTW) at GameStop. Worth it, especially since I was able to squeeze into my Reggie shirt still. I did not do it for PS5. We’ll see for the next Nintendo system.

Yeah. I had Advance Wars preordered, well, a long time. And the day of release they suddenly were like “Nope! Not gonna get it until next week”. At least Zelda is out for delivery.

They should build their own artificial island a la Westworld and out the parks there. Maybe off the west coast since it’s less chance of hurricanes?

The other parks will suffer if Disney left. People might vacation to Florida for Universal but they sure don’t just for SeaWorld/Busch. And the thousands of businesses around Disney will suffer. Iger is right - central Florida is how it is because Disney came there. They were the first park. Who knows if the others…

Dragon flight is one of the best WoW expansions (so far, at least) and was conceived and worked on entirely remote. I really don’t understand the need to have the team come back in the office, especially if it’s causing them to lose devs.

Feature creep has long been one of the assumptions for why the game isn’t out yet. That seems to be correct!

It does, but it printed 22% less money this past year. I’m surprised Nintendo wants to spend another year with sales going down.

While OP explained it poorly.. the original launch day Switch had I believe a flaw in the hardware itself that allowed a lot of the Switch emulation to happen. It was fixed pretty quickly in revised hardware

It’s funny because I feel the same way about the Somniel theme for Fire Emblem Engage - there are absolutely a few lines that are lifted from the Westworld theme.

The actual “hunting” of Pokémon disappeared almost immediately after release. In those days you could see nearby Pokémon on your tracker, with feet icons indicating how far away they were. So you could start walking and try to find them.
