I was given a 2016 BMW loaner (automatic) and I immediately had to turn this feature off. It felt very dangerous/untrustworthy to me for those moments when you need a quick go from being at a complete stop. It’s such a short delay but when you’re driving that can make the difference.

Ughhhh, this drives me insane. I’m amazed at how comfortable people are coughing and sneezing into the open air. So inconsiderate. This is why I’m basically part hermit. If you’re not considerate enough to keep your sneezes and coughs to yourself I probably don’t want to deal with you.

This was my experience with my VW, too. It was super fun to drive, and I enjoyed the interior and styling, but it just had so many mechanical issues. Good Lord.
