Yup. Thank you for perfectly articulating WHY everyone bringing the son into it felt so awful. Pratt didn’t say anything about his son, he used a damn cliche. 

Oh, the son will see it. And I just want to point out that Pratt may be a dick, but he wasn’t the one who turned this into a story about their son. 

I honestly think it might have been even more benign than that. I think he forgot his son wasn’t “healthy”.
