Plus, it’s hard to have any sympathy for someone who made a deal with the devil when she married for money. You cannot possibly convince me that she was drawn to his charm or looks, because he has neither.

It was a fantastic era. Nintendo was at a creative peak in those years, for sure. Don’t forget partnering with Sega for a brilliant F-Zero!

I think it’s easier to enjoy now that time has elapsed and it can be seen as one experience within the larger context. Sunshine was definitely unusual, and people panicked.

“Who cares about ARMS in 2020?”

In a similar vein (but audio instead of video), I remember playing Metroid Prime when it first game out. I was absolutely obsessed with it, and I wanted to find every single hidden power up, all of which emit a slight humming noise when nearby. I’d become super-tuned to that sound as I explored Tallon IV.

I dealt with this for a little while when I first got a 3DS. For at least a week or two, real life looked pretty weird. I apparently got better at compensating for it later on, because I’ve never experienced it again after that period.

Right. Even if they did feel the need to “fix” this, they wouldn’t do it by making the window breakable. They’d do it by coming up with some other in-lore unbreakable alternative to a window. A force shield or something.

Lenny’s point still stands, though. Good level design is an art, and some structures need to be unbreakable in order to maintain that level design.

It’s infuriating that developers don’t pay more attention to this problem. It’s 100% predictable, it’s a completely elementary design issue, and it’s so fucking easy to fix.

Three cheers for having a classic like Super Metroid on the list!

Very cool, but probably not gonna fly since Lego has already worked with the Sonic license. I don’t think they accept ideas submissions that involve previously-used brands.

What a magnificently idiotic thing to say.

Most Sanders voters are presumably reasonable people that will do the right thing in November and don’t need to be pandered to.

Ha -- yeah, I don’t know why I wrote it that way. I meant endorsed him tomorrow.

Storm, engineered, DNC conspiracy — whatever the hell you want to call it, it doesn’t matter. There’s no apparent way for a similar thing to happen for Sanders. The votes just don’t exist. His magic swarm of young voters never materialized. And people aren’t going to suddenly defect from Biden because of some amazing

It’s fine to think that, but it’s unlikely verging on impossible. Biden was able to transform his candidacy overnight because a bunch of people dropped out of the race and he got a pile of associated endorsements. Sucks for Sanders, but that’s the fact of it. It was a perfect storm.

Okay, then.

No, jackass. But cute.

Missing the point. Biden has already won. The votes are what they are, and there is no viable path for Sanders to take the nomination.
