This is obviously their play, but it would have been no matter what, and we got good legislation (funding CHIP) in the meantime.

Of course they made a decision for purely political reasons. Just like they support DACA for purely political reasons. DACA is a political issue, and the people legislating it are politicians.
And yet, if those pencil pushers are American citizens, they simply ARE more important to politicians than Dreamers. Because they vote.
I don’t think so.
No and no.
No, that’s not what it’s about.
Nobody is arguing for the censorship of biased news. I’ve literally never heard anyone argue that Fox News should be banned.
The central delusion of current America — people who make $50k see themselves as more aligned with those who make $500k than those who make $40k.
I do take your point and have from the beginning. I genuinely hope you never have a pain in your knee again.
1. Yeah that’s fine. I don’t care if people refuse medicine and go voodoo. They should just understand the concepts of science and evidence. After that, they’re free to do whatever.
Even if it’s true that medical practitioners know less than people think they do (arguable), that does not change the facts that:
I don’t want to be mean, but are you arguing that a work of fiction could have been a different work of fiction if the creator had made different decisions? How novel.
What makes no sense? I think you’re overthinking it.
I’m not Drew, but Trump is the mistake powerful man on earth and Simmons, as stated in this article, is the most powerful sportswriter in the country.
They’re not writing these articles to paper over stupid stuff in the movie. They’re writing these articles because the film makers discovered that they have to explain this obvious and already-explained-by-the-film stuff to people who need it explained to them.
He’s a lot like his mentors Obi Wan and Yoda in that respect.
I posted this elsewhere, but that’s my biggest problem with the slant — it doesn’t let the QB read anything post-snap. You just drop and throw to a spot. Which is fine pretty much everywhere on the field except the 1 yard line, where the lanes are more constricted.
I agree almost wholeheartedly. I’m not one to criticize individual plays because most of them are fine and there’s always a better play you could have called. Plus, fans don’t know shit and most only care because it didn’t work.
Can we criticize the fact that they called a slant to the slot man?
It was a called slant. There’s not much of a decision to be made pre-snap, only whether you’re going to throw there or elsewhere. That’s the nature of the play. There’s no decision at all to be made after the snap — you throw to a spot.
