The excerpts I’ve read don’t really tell anything surprising. The maddening thing is that these secret, embedded “heroes” for the most part agree with what Trump is doing, they just want him to look less of a buffoon. Politely rolled out terrible policy is still terrible policy.

Me long past worrying whether Marvel can deliver satisfying standalone film that also work into larger story. They have this stuff pretty well figured out. Me just going to take kids to this and enjoy ride.

I loved that little nod the Cousin gave him after he saw that Nacho was willing to get into the gunfight even with a bleeding wound and on the brink of collapse. Up to this point that is probably the most respect he’s been shown by any Salamanca.

He gave us Sarah Palin, which helped birth the Tea Party, which helped get us into the current travesty that is our national politics. I hope he had the fortune to die peacefully, but I’m not shedding any tears.

Thor’s big damn hero arrival in Wakanda, with that wonderful Avengers theme soaring in the background, was definitely the inspirational high point of the movie, and Banner’s, “Oh, you guys are screwed now!” was the biggest laugh line in my theater.

I agree, and it wouldn’t have been possible without Ragnarok. That movie gave the character of Thor a personality and an identity. Having IW come so soon after Ragnarok was perfect timing.

Sure is good to have Jimmy McGill insisting on accurate trash pop culture references again: “Actually it’s Jaws 3D.”
