I admittedly didn’t watch it. Awards shows are much better the next day when you can read a 5 minute article, get a photo list of the best/worst and a quick highlight reel of the important stuff.

This really irked me. Especially when Jimmy Kimmel jumped in. I yelled at my computer “SHUT UP AND LET THEM HAVE THEIR MOMENT.”

I put on an event for our sales conference this week, and they kept trying to get me on stage. NOPE. NADA. No thanks. I would prefer not to stumble up on stage while a 30 foot tall image of me is projected on either side of the stage for everyone to see.

Beatty definitely realized it, and looks like he was showing it to Dunnaway for help, but she just read it so quickly it was too late. I imagine it’s also SUPER hard/intimidating to be up on stage, with the envelope, and be like “Pause! Can we get a check on this?”

It’s still everywhere. I don’t hate it, at all, although I’ve seen a couple guys who are trying to use it to hide their receding hairline/balding. It’s a slippery slope towards the comb over.

Tapas are great! But to fully enjoy tapas they’re best done in pairs, in my experience. Find a friend/lover/coworker so you can split the plates. I find that I’m more willing to try different things when I only have to commit $5-$7ish dollars, and not my full meal.
