I think it’s even better than God Said Ha! You can the audio on Youtube.

It’s on Netflix! (or it was last year, anyway, hope it still is!)
Fair enough!
I gave it to my mom as a gift on CD years ago. She loved it, and it finally got her off my back about being an atheist!
If anyone not heard her one-woman show “Letting go of God,” do yourself a favor and go listen NOW (you can hear the whole thing in full on Youtube).
My husband and I are huge introverts, and that definitely factored into not having a bridal party!
I had no bridesmaids. My husband and I didn’t want a procession either. We just stood up in front of everyone at dinner, said some quick simply vows, and DONE. Then time to party! Best decision ever.
Yeah, this happens all the time in China too!
This is not necessarily true. I lived in China for the past 2 years, and people kept bugging me to bring back stuff from the US. People will pay 10x the price for the same stupid shit, and many Ebay shops have sprung up in response.
But lots of “Korean” stuff you might find in a Chinatown is not really Korean (or even Chinese). “Korean” just seems fancier. The idea that Chinese stuff is terrible is something that the Chinese seem to have hought into, to their own detriment.
Even in the most podunk Chinese cities, they put Korean letters on stuff to make things seem fancy. Not unlike Americans putting French and Italian words on stuff. :P
What they are actually cracking down on here, is not the domestic practice of producing knockoffs, but the reselling of those goods within China.
I discovered drinking in college, where it seemed a magical cure to my intense shyness and anxiety problems— until it stopped working. I hung on thru graduate school as a functional alcoholic, but by my late 2o’s shit started to hit the fan.
I was an honor student and I didn’t go to ANY parties like this as a teen. I felt super superior to kids that did (probably as a defense to feeling left out of such activities).
As a note of contrast, this is what happened when some white people in Hampden (the hipster part of town) tried to break curfew a few days ago.
LOL kiddo, I find it a personal preference. I don’t personally find it beards attractive, but I don’t honestly care that much. I find TOMS shoes and acid washed jeans ugly and a bit confounding, but whatever, it’s a current trend. I’m too told to understand.
I never said it’s insignificant. It’s small. Many, if not most women I know, shave/wax/pluck some parts of their face.
Ugh, the whiny man comments.
Acutally, in terms of sexy times, I don’t think it matters all that much. It’s just the facial aesthetics!
I don’t wear makeup, but I’m not into women, so I don’t really care what other ladies do.
