The Leaf isn’t that weird looking anymore.
The Leaf isn’t that weird looking anymore.
They could still make money offering better buyouts, but with the OEMs putting their fingers on the scales, they don’t have to.
I had a Honda Fit that I bought new, and it just wasn’t very good. Transmission hunted, the AC never worked very well.
I mean you started this thread with “Show me a comfortable vehicle capable of carrying 5 plus gear daily that gets more than 30 mpg and can handle regular 300+ mile trips.”, and then say buying more efficient vehicles never makes sense. I guess we’re done here.
So would the price of literally any new car.
Chrysler Pacifica PHEV
That wasn’t a correspondent, that was Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC).
There was also the A3 e-tron PHEV.
It doesn’t, it has a J1772 L2 port next to the ChaDeMo port.
The Leaf also uses J1772 for home charging, and Teslas come with a little adapter. Every EV can use J1772.
For home chargers, every EV that has been sold in the US since 2010 uses the same J1772 port, or (Tesla) comes with an adapter. So it’s much less complicated than people make it seem.
Covid kills people after the virus has left the body. So transmissibility and deadliness don’t have any relationship for this disease.
The Jag driver couldn’t see a damn thing, right? And almost certainly had an airbag go off in their face. So I imagine that’s just the car coming to a stop automatically.
If you want to save money on road repairs, incentivize using rail over trucks. 50-100 truck trailers and hundreds more intermodal containers blast through my town every day, and they don’t do any road damage because they’re on trains.
I think that’s his “cover head” instinct starting up before being overridden by his “run away” instinct.
Assuming you can’t do a non-car trip for the two miles, try a Chevy Spark EV. Fairly cheap to buy and nearly free to fuel, fun to drive, can be serviced at nearly any Chevy dealership if needed.
2017s are a good deal right now. New battery and new warranty sometime in 2022. (I have a 2019, same deal.)
Tesla makes a profit.
Nobody’s gotten a federal tax credit on a 2020 Tesla Model Y. They aren’t even listed on the tax credit page of fueleconomy.gov.
I also wanted to get him a Fisker Karma, so thank you for that. I live near basically the only person who still works on them, so I consider them sometimes. But then I figure if I want something that goofy I should just wait for modern Karma Reveros to depreciate.
