Full disclosure. I work in the car industry and these were mostly trade-ins that landed on the lot between September-November. My experience is that these cars can be found on Kijiji and Craigslist for a bit more $. all were higher mileage and had some cosmetic issues/mechanical issues.

I would love an awd version but I have also heard that the diff’s were a weak point in the car. some say yes, some say no... in Canada AWD is better.

super fun car. The 1990's turbo lag forces you to “time” your shifts to coincide with when you actually want to move faster. I am contemplating replacing the Mitsubishi turbo with something a bit better. It has the same issues ass your V70XC.... dash rattles for days, traction/abs does not work and I have been told

1998 Volvo S70 T5. Leather heated seats, manual transmission, turbo inline 5 and about 5 lbs of tree sap on the body for good measure. my pleasure. Mine is a “base” car so it has the green velour. I’ll snag some pics and send ‘em. Nobody wants these things because they are not really that collectible. I think they are amazingly comfortable to drive and have there own unique characteristics.
