I just saw this. Sorry I didn’t get a chance to contribute before, you guys would have sent me flowers and shamed me.

Are you getting and honest 10 days out of Livingston freight?
Toronto, Canada. and those prices do not include taxes or regi. They are not that bad where I live.
Full disclosure. I work in the car industry and these were mostly trade-ins that landed on the lot between September-November. My experience is that these cars can be found on Kijiji and Craigslist for a bit more $. all were higher mileage and had some cosmetic issues/mechanical issues.
It is a winter beater. Lets be honest, you don’t really care what it is, just as long as:
One owner from 1998 until february of this year. he bought it new in Cali and moved back to Canada with it. I’m just happy he kept the thing!
We had the Japanese version of the probe. You never see MX-6's anymore. nice 850
DID WE JUST BECOME BEST FRIENDS!!!!
I would love an awd version but I have also heard that the diff’s were a weak point in the car. some say yes, some say no... in Canada AWD is better.
super fun car. The 1990's turbo lag forces you to “time” your shifts to coincide with when you actually want to move faster. I am contemplating replacing the Mitsubishi turbo with something a bit better. It has the same issues ass your V70XC.... dash rattles for days, traction/abs does not work and I have been told…
1998 Volvo S70 T5. Leather heated seats, manual transmission, turbo inline 5 and about 5 lbs of tree sap on the body for good measure. I picked this up from a guy who left the car parked under a tree for years, the body is dented/ruined by the sap but there is no rust. 77,000 miles. This winter beater will probably…
Did anyone else see the “19G” on the back glass and think that was the run # at an auction?
The driver pulled off pretty quick, that sticks out in my mind.
my pleasure. Mine is a “base” car so it has the green velour. I’ll snag some pics and send ‘em. Nobody wants these things because they are not really that collectible. I think they are amazingly comfortable to drive and have there own unique characteristics.
I think it is implied that the next modification to this is a third pedal on the floor and a modification to the bench seat to accommodate a stick.
I have an 83' Lincoln vi that I currently daily. If I didn’t have that, or had room for one more... this would be it
