It’s better looking anyway - I actually don’t get the reverence for the MkIV over this, other than it being newer and the TT model being a beast. I’m not even a fan of most ‘80s cars and this thing just looks incredible.

That’s still one of the stupider PSA style anti-piracy ads, which ignores the biggest flaw in their “stealing” argument - stealing a car deprives another person of use of said car. Downloading music or a TV show does no such thing. I’m not saying it is right, but they are not an apples to apples comparison.
I apologize for my snide tone in my original reply, and appreciate your very well reasoned response. In fairness to Mazda though, I do see an awful lot of CX-5's on the road. Sure, not CRV numbers, but still it’s not at all uncommon to see 3-4 others every time I go out (and I work from home so I don’t drive far…
You have obviously - and I mean OBVIOUSLY - never driven one. That’s what sets Mazda apart from the other shit. They have literally built what reputation they have on the driving dynamics of their cars. More than 5% of buyers care about that, but don’t fall into the “Enthusiast” category.
You are trying to compare an old mazda vehicle to new, and it doesn’t work. This generation of cars is completely different than the Mazda of old. First of all they have no partnership with Ford, and don’t shop out of the Ford parts bin anymore. The CX-7 and CX-5 don’t share any parts - the CX-5 was a completely…
Look again - those engine issues are a thing of the past. Yes, the CX-7 turbo engine sucked, and sucked hard. But the Skyactiv engines have been very reliable. I’ve had my 2014 CX-5 GT since Feb of 2013, and it has been awesome.
Isnt’ an V8 swap the best thing to do for all those IMS bearing failed 996's? Probably less weight and more power.
Your name is really what sells that comment.
Come on, just offer it up on MGBoard (I assume this is a thing).
This is absolutely the right answer.
It’s okay - after I posted that I tried to do it, and it doesn’t work. There are several comments on the video about it not working and the uploader/creator isn’t sure why. So I actually ended up using the link you shared - so thank you :)
This is strange that they did, since it would have been below the inheritance tax maximum, and any tax due would have been based only off of the adjusted basis from when the owner died. So if they got someone to say that it was worth 2 mil when she died, and they sold it later for 2 mil, taxes due should have been…
No kidding. I only got through the first one
Why not just click the “download” button on Vimeo itself?
Thank god. And yes, I’ve read stuff just that insane and vitriolic in comments before so I wasn’t quite sure. Your imitation game was on point.
Please tell me you are joking and this was written in jest.
Please tell me this is satire. Because if it isn’t...
Why on earth is this shared on Jalopnik?
There has been amazing strides in this department. Watch Ant Man and tell me that Michael Douglas in the flashback sequence doesn’t look damn near perfect. It’s crazy to me what they have done in half a decade, since that looks so good, and Jeff Bridges in Tron:Legacy looked so bad in comparison.
