I saw it originally as a little kid when the parents dragged me to it. Saw it as a 20 something later. Outside of the production values aging, it holds up more or less. It’s definitely not a poster boy for the krull effect.

You saw so many hummers around prior to 2007 because of a tax dodge for small business that involved vehicles with a high gross vehicle weight (5000lbs or greater or something). It was supposed to be for say.. a plumber who bought a truck to do his plumbing stuff but could be applied to anything. Realtor, IT

The middle class is pretty broad. A lot of them can’t afford a $70k car. A lot of those that can are leasing $100k cars.

I use lastpass across windows 10 and ios mainly, and have also used it with osx. It works great for the web. As far as apps, it depends on how the app is set up to deal with the ios password manager hooks. Worst case you copy and paste and most apps either cache it for extended periods, or you use it once and let

Probably because they have some sort of repetitive stress injury.

Guess what the boomers started as? A massive population bubble that thought they were going to change the world for the better with great new ideas.

Eh they all suffer from the danger of turning into your new filler word when you need half a second for you brain to sync with your mouth.

No normal person ever thought, “It looks interesting, but it’s ___ and I never buy/watch/read their stuff.”

I think in the end your statement sums it up. DC fans have to make a lot of forward looking statements in order to have hope they get good DC franchise films. Marvel fans not so much, but they definitely have a longer way to fall.

Cancel culture is of the left. Go look at what is happening on college campuses with regards to anyone who tries to book a right leaning speaker. I mean heck, Condoleezza Rice being speaker at a university commencement was shouted down and meth with threats of protest. It wasn’t even a public speaking event of any

I understand completely why people don’t like superman returns. I mostly don’t like it either. I did like that at the core the primary weapon used against him was the fact that he cared about people and that made him as vulnerable as they are.

I think a lot of people don’t like it because they don’t perceive what’s going on in the film as it’s intended, and thus it doesn’t make much sense to them. Even if you do, you still have to engage your brain for the ending.

Please stop blaming New Jersey for New York accents. She’s nailed Staten Island goombah. There is a Jersey accent, but that isn’t it.

Yup, it’s not just the crowd mentality.

Just a test of rationality. If you think the other side has the noise they make magnified by the internet, why do you think the same doesn’t apply to your side?

You are glad you live in California, the liberal utopia free of this deep divide. Go look at en election map for the state. Most of the place is deep red and ruled over by blue cities. It’s a place that should also be mostly desert that avoids such by creating massive hostility over water rights.

I do not know why anyone would own a car in Manhattan, but I also don’t think this will fix their problems with transportation and quality of life.

Of course they could, but they seem intent on not. Having met it in person, it si a really cool overall design. Except for those damn headlights. Ugly as sin and do not go with any of the lines on the thing. The profile of the front end is solid, so I’m pretty sure they can decide their signature headlights are going

Not the increasing security, but the media and organizations cheerleading the idea of violence at a showing. I mean given that one of the things that is a theme amongst mass killers is cataloging the achievements of previous mass killers, I’m sure there’s nothing enticing about assuring the next one that if they do it

How? 1) New jersey operates on corruption. 2) The people who ran that place were masters of that environment. 3) marketing. 4) bigger families and like 14% interest on mortgages. The idea of being down one kid maybe didn’t seem so bad. If they made it out, well they did a lot of growing up that day.
