It was the canonball. And it wasn’t sewer pipe. It had a lining and everything. But it was the darkest place you had ever been and if you got on the one that was right angled turns you got pummeled pretty good. I suspect lots of kids found out they were claustrophobic on that one. Some probbaly weren’t before.

You thought it was cold. Then they opened the alpine springs portion or whatever it was. Oh. My. God. I swear they refrigerated that shit.

I’ve been there while it was up there were lines of people lining up for it, and some of those people in line were people I arrived with.

I will bet you they don’t even capture all the things that went on there. The place was simultaneously great and terrifying.

The big vertical speed slide.. yeah I saw your mom there too. As did like 100 other 10-15 year olds.

The alpine slide was always made of concrete. you can go look up videos of people riding it on youtube and see it. It was a very fine aggregate concrete but definitely concrete.

It’s nice to see Sprint is finally learning something form Verizon.

Look man, it gets clicks. So... yeah. As for the witch hunt in general, they will either put it out of business or get the same taxes on it the cigarettes give them. There’s no way they are abandoning that revenue.

Everybody on the internet already judged you, so you might as well just see the movie you want to see.

Methylcellulose is a basically a fiber supplement. It is what is in citrucel. Depending on your current intestinal state and why, it can act as a laxative, or firm things up.

Well at least they tied up traffic in lots of places and increased the carbon footprint of commuting for a day.

the technologies (and there are many) that are required to build anything even remotely close to capabilities seen in those videos do not exist.

I like how the initial thing to blame is climate change, while we are actively:

It’s not, but it looks like all the pertinent information is in every article about this and yet folks want to pretend it’s a mystery.

Dude. You don’t need to eat meat three meals a day to be obese. Eating three bags of potato chips a day will mess you up too and it has nothing to do with meat.

Meat won’t give you diabetes other than by contributing to your caloric load while also consuming carbs.

This is propaganda. It absolutely had an effect.

Hmm except unlike the android ecosystem where the likes of samsung put out multiple new devices a year instead of one, you get functioning support and updates for longer, thus giving you the option of holding onto a phone longer and having it work properly.

Overnight it ruined an SSD by update and reboot. Uhh .. no. The drive likely failed because of some defect with it. Overnight simply isn’t enough time to do enough stuff to it to hit it’s end of life due to use. Your evidence that it wasn’t defective is in fact likely evidence the drive WAS defective.

Emphasis on some. Like the use of decent disposable plates as plate cushioning. That’s a solid idea price wise and not necessarily obvious. Bagging and labeling cables though... not wrong, but should be obvious.
