If they are that bad at Body Language think how bad they would be trying to read the New Kinja comment section.

I read that story yesterday and this was the saddest quote to me:

So, for #1, respond to body shaming with more body shaming? Got it.

You seem to be a bit misinformed on behavioral techniques used to assist people diagnosed with Autism. (Please note that in the field of Psychology, we do not refer to them as "autistic" any more. It is "a person with Autism." This applies to many disorders as well.) We do not use punishment. In my 7 years in this

"We sincerely regret that the issue of being told to leave the bookbag at home was perceived as blaming Grayson. While that was not the intent, the perception became reality."

Notice the phrasing of their half-apology: "We regret that you people perceived our behavior as shitty." and not "our behavior was shitty.".

FUCKING AMEN. The kids were cruel to me because I didn't act like them. Even when I did try to act like them, which I didn't want to do, they were still mean to me, sometimes more so.

He needs this shirt:

Regardless of their intentions it's not really the kids responsibility to not be bullied. School is a place to learn, for that to happen students need to feel that they are in a safe environment. Also did the school officials think that without the bag he wouldn't be a target for bullies? That they'd just forget that

That non-solution is the worst. I was also told as a kid all the things that I was doing wrong to make bullies target me, and I did my best to change it. But you know what? It didn't help. It didn't change a single goddamn thing, because at the end of the day, the bully doesn't give a shit about what backpack this kid

yeah a complete non-apology there...

It's just another way to say 'sorry, not sorry'. So gross.

Wow, that is quite the "sorry if you were offended" non-apology.

"while that was not the intent, the perception became reality" really fucking irks me

For reference, this gif is from the MST3K riff of the movie Attack of the the Eye Creatures (not a typo) where they shoot a "night" scene in broad goddamn daylight with a blue filter and neglect to even put three of the monsters in full costume. They just didn't care.

I think he meant GINGERS cure cancer.

Jem is truly outrageous. Truly truly truly outrageous. Pink, yep. Any potential Jem MUST live up to this. Side note- I wanted to be Jem, Punky Brewster or Slash when I grew up. Dreams don't come true, the closest I get is my hair when I wake up hungover.

I hope that the settlement was $1 or something because I just can't believe that the the band that I grew up with could be a couple of dicks.

Seems a little silly to give it a "NO" when most of us don't have the luxury of having access to the original on 3DS. Yet another example of why this review system needs to die in a fire.
