@alex92592: Output and quality? I always find their products overpriced, from TVs to laptops to cameras. Other companies (like Panasonic or HP) have cheaper units AND better warranties.

I'm going to take this rumor with a grain of salt.
@Vedli: Goosebumps.
@KamWrex: Are you guys all serious? Who the hell calls the Internet "the cloud?"
@Shook-Yang: Well, if "extra equipment" is the paperclip, it's not really a big deal. I'd rather have it done that way than have to take apart my phone to take out the sim card.
@Curves: All companies have the capacity to treat you like shit. It comes down to personal experience.
@reapur: Almost all GSM phones I have had made the SIM cards hidden and not easily accessible. This is not an Apple thing.
This is not going to be free.
@zeroprime: Hold on a minute though - Verizon is no different from AT&T when it comes to nickel & diming customers. I doubt the hotspot feature is included with data plans for free.
Looks like Verizon's Navigator, V-Cast Media Manager, and hotspot app are coming pre-installed. No clue whether or not they're removable, but I think they would be.
@zeroprime: No, this is good. It's going to force AT&T to compete with Verizon on features.
@John Addis: It's also very handy when you need to look up information while talking. Imagine your map app not downloading new data while you were on the phone.
"He autographed on it?"
@FlawedHero: Other than the network, what problems have you had with the actual hardware of the iPhone? Even the antennagate thing was blown out of proportion and I have never dropped a call that way.
@snoboarder31: Are you seriously complaining about a $29 upgrade package?
@Drummertist v.3: Angry Birds on the Mac really stumps me. This is a game that is ideal for a touchscreen, but totally unnecessary on a desktop. In fact, it's not even that fun on the desktop, because clicking and pulling the slingshot back isn't the same as intuitively doing it with your finger.
@pantsonfireliarliar: Yes, that's true, but I think it'll also be a big boon for indie developers who otherwise wouldn't have attracted your parents' attention. Now they can, provided whatever they're selling is reviewed well enough.
And so it begins... let the predictions and speculation start. Will it be a success? A grand failure?
People who live in glass houses shouldn't... place their cars in those houses.
