That’s the thing, only the Isle of Man has a somewhat international media coverage, but the others have none. So it is not being glorified by tv crews. Furthermore, banning it would only result in people taking it to the actual streets, since they want to get their thrill one way or another

The majority of the riders don’t do this for the money or the sponsors. They do it for the thrill. Irish roadracing is much bigger than only the Isle of Man TT, so banning this event is useless
