I just googled Issei Sagawa… wow. This is fascinating to me, given that we just found out yesterday about the esteemed psychology professor who killed his entire family when he was a teenager.
I made beef heart for the first time just for this show (I had no idea Hannibal was going to serve it as well). I had mine steak frites style — it was delicious. I highly recommend beef heart!!
This is not a personal attack, but I honestly don't understand the POV that the "Will in asylum" storyline is dragging. I think my esteem for the show would be lowered if they had Will imprisoned for only a symbolic period of time. Justice is a slow process in the real world (not that this show is necessarily…
You know, you can use HTML tags in comments here. I feel like the asterisks made your comment kind of hard to read.
In the X-Files universe, Hannibal is the last serial killer Fox "Spooky" Mulder successfully profiles and catches before he decides to focus on aliens instead because humanity scares him too much.
double whoooosh
So much the better. I would hate to see him in terrible rom coms like Gerard Butler…
………… I… thought this was a joke about Bev's skinny-ness. But everyone is offended.
Well that took an unexpected turn!
I read that as super flirty, and I'm not someone who tends to ship couples on shows. For instance, I never saw a lot of romantic chemistry between any pair on the show before this. Even John and Zoe seem less flirty than Root and Shaw.
I totally got a kick out of that series because I watched it after watching POI and it ends with Caviezel becoming The Machine or something.
Tony Leung!! (Whom I initially thought was Shia LaBoeuf.)
Oh man, maybe PB is just trying to recreate the city she knew in her childhood as sentient gum. She's trying to go back to where she came from, just as she envisioned a similar ending for Lemonhope. *cries forever*
Oh my god I thought I was the only person who remembers and appreciates A.I.
For some reason, I didn't take that scene as a literal depiction of what will happen in Ooo's future. Since PB was singing the song, I thought it was interesting that in her imagination of Lemonhope's future, she allows the possibility that her eternal empire isn't so eternal after all.
HOLY SHIT
Holy shit this episode was amazing. Tied everything a little too neatly together but it makes sense to me that everyone that was tracking the Machine before is still tracking it now. I'm willing to sit through four crap episodes like "Last Call" in a row if it means getting an episode like this.
I had no idea such rules existed, as I've never listened to DVD commentary for anything. Seems kinda dumb that they can't even mention another channel's property even as they want to praise it…
I LOVE THAT MOVIE.
