I'm gonna say drywall is the hardest to get right. It's easy enough to do the basics, but if you want to get it perfect, you can't. At least plumbing and electrical are hidden. I walk by my sub-standard drywall repairs daily and am continually reminded of my shortcomings.

plumbing projects are from hell...so deceptively easy but almost never work out. I won't do plumbing of any kind any more, invariably there is a small leak that I just can't solve. Pay a professional.

Yep. I have no sympathy for an idiot that shines a laser at any kind of piloted aircraft for fun. The potential for death and destruction resulting from a laser-blinded pilot is huge. The sentence might be harsh, but I think it is fair.

I don't have much of a resume and lack grades and "extracurricular" experiences. I'm also autistic, but high functioning. How should I approach my resume, since my disorder has hindered my job history too?

Hi Donna,

I don't get SAD, I just die when someone gets sick of my california gloating bullshit and wraps their hands around my neck and holds my head underwater until the bubbles stop

I don't get SAD, I just die of dehydration!

I must be one of the few people that is actually really interested in serving on a jury, but I've only ever been called once and I had to get out of it. The process was quite easy - I went to the county's website and filled out a form that explained that because I'm a work-at-home father, I would have to arrange child

12v will work better, but the voltage isnt the important part. Your power supply should be able to supply a lot more amperes than a 9v battery. More current should speed up the reaction quite a bit.

Who lives where they can choose their electricity provider? Not me.

I hope I'm not the only person who sat waiting for the very top gif to load for like a minute...

So, if the pictures provided did not fully explain the concept, it's just that things closer to the camera seem larger, and things further from the camera seem smaller. If you can set up your shot so that an object in the foreground and an object in the background seem to be at the same distance from the camera,

Basically, the closer something is to a camera, the bigger it seems compared to the other stuff in the photos. That's why a photo of a guy taking a selfie appears bigger than the crowd of people behind them.

Thanks for clarifying. It's been years since I had a business law class, but I seemed to remember that being the case. Just as an aside, I really enjoy your writing on Lifehacker. Thanks for the reply.

I agree, but I'd add one thing: no more reboots. EVER. Just… let them die. Let them grow old and senile and die.
