The ‘08 Audi A8 I drove had a screen that folded into the dash, but it’s small and low quality and so central to everything that the car can do that you’d never want to fold it away anyway. It popping out when you start the car is simply an ‘oooh, ahh” feature.

I find it lasts a good while longer than the expiration date by at least a week or two. If you find that when you pour and it immediately leaves some thin coagulated particles floating on the surface, it’s about to head west and generally merits replacement. I’ve used a spoon to remove said particles and still drank

The range extender option by the way is a 2-stroke motor that runs a generator when the battery level reaches ~5%, iirc. It is not directly connected to the drivetrain, so it’s not a “hybrid” in the traditional (?) sense but does double the admittedly kinda pitiful 80-mile range.

“oh im so jaded, one of the most basic mechanics of video games is so boring and uninteresting to me that i’d rather talk shit about a probably very excellent game than actually play it because it wasnt made with my particularly short sighted tastes in mind”

Some people love those things. Some people also like cutting themselves.

Be still my heart. Anything Lotus faithfully reproduced by hand on paper makes me swoon.

Geothermal is extremely cool and good; my parents built their home with it and it can get as frosty OR toasty as you want, and it’s only water pumps.

I used gray VHT on my project’s headers and they turned kind of bronze in color. I don’t mind it though, aside from a splash of coolant they still look clean and way better than they used to.

You’re assuming it will receive instructions via RF. It’ll more likely receive flight instructions via satellite / gps, and probably use on board cameras to search for an adequate place to offload cargo. They won’t be flown by some dude with a hobbyist controller.

ftw torsen is extremely cool and good

That’s pretty hot. I had a CT-70 for a minute, loved that thing even though it hardly ever wanted to go into 3rd. Bought it for $50, put a new gas tank in it, rode it for 4 years, sold it for $80 and then ~20 years later I’m seeing I could have easily sold it for a grand or so even with its problems. C’est la vie
