...so, new idea. Instead of using the Chromium-based new version of Edge....why not just use Chromium....?

Is that something you will gain back over time with therapy? We’re just glad you’re still with us mate. :)

How is your hand Andrew? Have you got most of your function back in it?

Eh, I used to have a car with A/C, keyless entry, remote start and remote locking. My current car has none of those things and the only one I miss whatsoever is the A/C.

Not on a lot of cars these days, no.

True...I can understand your point...but, I don’t know, sitting something down with your hands full so unlock your door with a key and then picking the items up again seems like an incredibly minor inconvenience compared to coming back to your car with your hands full and finding there IS no car...

I still don’t understand who smart keys are better....if the point of keys was originally to be different on all cars and help prevent people from having access and stealing your car, then why did everybody move to system where signals can be cloned and cars can be stolen in less than a minute....?

Why don’t we still

There are several here and they are the most vanilla shade of bland in the history of the universe.

Yup....I REALLY want a Skoda 105/120/130/Estelle series...

It’s been so long since I switched over that I can’t remember, to be honest! I know Rockbox has a lot more options for things like Playlists than the stock firmware does. It’s really easy to install (or uninstall) as well if you don’t like it. The UI is customizable, though a bit more...old-fashioned looking than the

+1 I have a Sandisk Sansa Clip+ running the open-source Rockbox firmware. GREAT little player.

Huh? Maybe so? Canadian ones wouldn’t be that much different from home market models, I just meant that models still existing here would be priced high in the used market as their owners would assume they were rare as Lada never did sell a lot of cars here, so that it would actually be just as expensive, if not

I imagine any Canadian spec models are going to cost you an arm and a leg because people here will price them high due to their rarity. It might actually be cheaper to import one from Europe somewhere! I imagine getting one 15+ years old from somewhere like Hungary, etc wouldn’t be too hard...?

I wonder if any Oppos

The Niva and the Lada Riva sedan were sold here! And the 2106 was sold here in Canada as well!

I’d found this Canadian-market press photo while back, even!

Glad you’re OK David - lucky! Glad the Postal Jeep made it out too, although I would take a close second look at that frame just in case!

Kudos for helping with the J10 Urambo!

Yeah...their quality has seemed to go downhill a lot in the past few years...

This is part of the reason I’m not a big Ford guy...though their manual transmissions are fine. A friend had a 2012 Focus hatch with the stick and it never gave him any issues, though despite yearly rust protection, the body was starting to noticeably rust in places despite it’s newer age....my 2009 Hyundai Accent

...so when is the next series of Jason Drives videos coming out? Psyched for them! :D

I am perfectly fine with it. Sure, it’s a little trickier to slide across the rear seat from one side, but it’s really not all that much less convenient. Plus, if necessary, the driver’s seat still flips forward with a longer-opening door as it would on any 2-door car, so it’s not like there’s no access from the

.....so if the Navy is ditching touchscreen controls in it’s ships....why the hell do I have to put up with shitty touchscreen controls for things that don’t need a touchscreen in my car like HVAC? Give me the good old ‘3 knobs’ and an A/C button back....
