You're not getting the point.... The exact same crash could have happened between any two vehicles, but it still would have happened. Just because the cars involved were both rare has nothing to do with whether or not something else was going on.

Honestly, I'm not half as good with identifying cars as most of the people here. If I can do it, and considering we've been undefeated (as far as I know) in these things, Jalopnik is definitely the place to turn for any and all automotive mysteries. I see that, even though it turned out to be unecessary, police did identify the car as a Yaris before actually finding it. Any chance they got that info from here? I think the vast majority of us agreed it was a Yaris.
