I’m in the same boat, although mine is a 2000 and only about 330hp, but still, soooo much fun. The turbo noises, the lag (yes lag can be fun!), the exhaust, the relatively sleeper status. Such a great car.

Is it just me, or is driving above 112mph on public roads because your wife is in labor in the back seat more dangerous than whatever might happen if you get there 5 minutes later?

Western Washington here. I know at least 3 high school/recently graduated boys in my neighborhood who daily an NA Miata. We had a lot of snow and ice recently, and they were still out in it. Sliding around everywhere, yes, but driving nonetheless. They seem to enjoy it even more than normal weather. Rain, shine, or

And there is no 2019 Audi Quattro.

How about RS4. This is the Trackhawk, after all.

Brand new Jeep has build quality comparable to 30+ year old Audi... I can see it.

Ignoring your first sentence because I didn’t say that’s what happened here, but all kinds of shops do this. Let’s say they install a catless exhaust for you, or they tune your ECU and alter emissions parameters. Both technically illegal, although I’ve never heard of a shop refusing this kind of work. They may or may

Well, yes. But I mean technically you could hire a shop to do some illegal work, but then never actually pay (assuming you got your keys back), and the shop couldn’t come after you because it was illegal work so no contract is valid. I haven’t heard of that happening, though.

Interesting that many shops seem to be so willing to do such work then, because technically they have no real legal recourse to force you to pay them after doing illegal work on your car. Maybe they just count on people pressing the matter so that their car doesn’t get any scrutiny.

Although I’m not sure how far I would stretch that idea, because it’s illegal to remove catalytic converters, but people pay shops to install catless exhausts all the time. There are certain illegal things that some enthusiasts might want a shop to do, and other illegal things they they do not want them to do, like

Just finished playing through FF4 for the first time a couple weeks ago. Honestly, it was fun and I played it and did pretty much all of the side quests, but I think the only reason was because I could play it on my phone wherever I was. If I had to play it on a console/PC, I doubt I would ever have finished it

Wait, so his wife was the primary driver for their 7 years of ownership, but the timing chains were done by the previous owner 10-20k ago? Did she only drive like 2,000 miles a year or less?

I have no experience with B6s, but considering both of my B5s are model year 2000, I would classify them as early 2000s.

True, but once you hit the B5s and other early 2000s models, they start to hold up much better. My B5 S4 looks quite a bit more modern, both inside and out, than most other cars built in 2000 that I see around. And mechanically pretty solid when taken care of well. Lots of ealy 2000s Audis on the road around here.

West coast best coast.

Hey, I live in Bellingham! Maybe I’ve seen this thing around. Certainly a good number of Audis around here, although I don’t often see much from pre-2000.

Disagree. You have to know what you’re getting into. It’s no Camry. But if you can be okay with paying a little more for parts, and especially if you’re willing to do basic maintenance yourself, Audis are a joy to own.

Others may disagree with you, but this is how I have always felt about nardo grey. It looks like they primed it, but then forgot to put actual color on before spraying the clearcoat.

Personally, I would prefer the sweet whistle of a turbo (and the ease of tuneability the comes with it) and AWD if it only costs me 2 mpg. I also really enjoy Audi’s interiors. But I totally understand why you would prefer the NA sound and the simplicity. To each their own!

I want 60fps on FFXV on Very High settings. But definitely not going to get that with a 980ti... Even a 1080ti struggles to hold that.

Not saying the 980ti is a bad card by any means! But you did say what more could you want.
