I do not care if it is more expensive. I am fine with that.

I would be all over this. Any chance to continue driving my V8 Jag way into the future with minimal environmental cost. I do not mind paying more for the fuel.
Don’t threaten me with a good ass time!
First they came for our Confederate flags, and I did not speak out, because I am not a secessionist.
Why? Because he is arguing for better public transportation that will reduce the amount of cars on the road?
LOL, detailing.
What’s the difference?

You should get the CT4 version! Or really any American muscle car. It’s not necessarily the choice I would make as an American myself, but I feel like one of my favorite parts of traveling is seeing the “exotic to me” metal out on the street. If I were living in England or something, i’d have a hard time not picking…
We’re passed the point where our childish desires factor into long term decision making. The planet is in dire straights and adults have to make decisions on what needs to be given up so that we might possibly have a chance out of this mess before all of humanity is forced into a small ‘habitable’ zone on planet earth.
counterpoint: the regulations aren’t being drawn up with stuff like a hellcat in mind at all. they’re being drawn up to cover the 99.99% of cars that aren’t hellcats and the modern muscle cars are just going to be collateral damage. look around in a parking lot. there are an awful lot of V8 powered trucks.

I just signed for a home, so my wife and I have committed ourselves east of the Mississippi for a good long while. There is a lot to like about Michigan at least (especially in the non-cold months). I absolutely love everything I’ve seen on the Lake Michigan side and my wife and I try to visit Traverse City every year…
This is probably not very Jalop of me but I’ve ran my 17" rims + winter tires for the past two summers on my FoST because of how trash the roads are around me. It’s a much nicer ride, plus I drive <2k miles a year at this point so I don’t really notice the extra wear.
I live in SE Michigan too and totally understand the issue about the lack of fun driving roads nearby. I grew up on the outskirts of Phoenix, so all I had to do was drive 10 minutes north to be completely alone to have fun on a road. Then I went to school in Utah and the drives around the mountains were a weekly thing…
The 2019 is more than just a stereo. It has 26 more horsepower with a higher redline. It’s a very noticeable difference when driving the two. The 2016-2018 feels really slow. The 2019 doesn’t feel fast, but it feels like it has an adequate amount of power. That’s going to be much more noticeable day to day than a LSD.…
if i didn’t live in an 800sqft apartment, I’d totally store the rear seats and make a shelf back there. It’d make all the difference
I was less horrified by the events yesterday and more by the vast numbers of people that apparently didn’t see it coming. (And also the lack of appropriate response. Those morons should have been gassed before breaching the Capitol.)
I’m from, and still live in, Detroit. Folks can still call me a lefty commie all they want, I just come with a rust belt legitimacy that makes me hard to argue with.
Yes, more of THIS. Great post Erin. This is why I Jalopnik.
